Katrin, amsterdam.info editor
Katrin is the editor of the Estonian version of the web page. She has a BA in English language and literature from the Universtity of Tartu, Estonia and studied in Amsterdam between 2004 and 2005 a Master’s in Linguistics at the Universiteit van Amsterdam, specializing in Sociolinguistics. She moved to Amsterdam in August 2004 after having worked in the travel industry in her native Estonia and in the UK. She also does freelance work as a translator, being fluent in Estonian, Finnish and English and hoping to add Dutch to her repertoire soon. The Estonian web page should offer useful advice for Estonian visitors to Amsterdam since there is no other comprehensive page in Estonian about the wonders of this city. When Katrin has any free time left over from studies she likes to travel, to explore the architectural treasures and the numerous nightspots of Amsterdam and to engage in intellectually stimulating debates with people. :-)
