Amsterdam airport parking

There are several options to park your vehicle at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, depending on your needs and budget. The parking rate depends on the duration of the stay and the distance to the passenger terminal.
The following is an overview of the different options to park at the airport. Click here to see the rates for parking at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.

Parking P1 and P2

P1 and P2 are located nearest to the passenger terminal and are most suitable for short-term parking up to three days, and for people dropping off or picking up passengers. Both are covered garages. It is a ten minute walk from P1 and P2 to the check-in desks.

Parking P3

The open-air parking lot P3 is located north of the terminal building. This is a long-term parking (at least three days) and there is a free shuttle bus service, which operates at ten-minute intervals throughout the day, to take you to the passenger terminal. Note that you are allowed to stop briefly at the bus stop at the entrance of the parking to unload baggage before parking your car.

By using the Schiphol Smart Parking service you can save up to 50% on parking fees at P3. This service must be booked in advance online on Amsterdam Airport’s website, and availability of parking spaces for this service is limited.

Parking at the arrivals and departures hall

Please note that it is strictly forbidden to park your vehicle at the arrivals and departures halls, except when using the Valet Parking service described further below. Police controls are strict and fines can be hefty.

Paying the parking fees

The easiest way to pay the parking fee is by credit card. You can insert your card into the ticket machine when entering the parking, without having to take a ticket. Upon leaving the parking you can then use the same credit card to pay for the fees. If you choose to take a ticket, you can pay the fees before picking up your car at one of the many cashier machines. These machines accept credit cards, ATM cards and cash. If you encounter any problems using the machines, ask for assistance at the special service desk.

Schiphol Valet Parking

If you use the Schiphol Valet Parking service, you can park your car at a special reserved section near the entrance of the departure hall and hand over your car keys at the dedicated desk in Departure Hall 2. An employee will then park your car in a secure location. Upon your return, your car will be waiting for you at the same location. Schiphol Valet Parking has to be reserved online. If you use this service often, you can get a subscription which entitles you to a discount of 10% on parking costs.

Parking for the disabled

All parking facilities at Amsterdam Airport have special sections for disabled drivers, located conveniently near the exit or bus stop. Disabled drivers using a wheelchair can request free special assistance for transportation to the terminal by phoning +31-20-4057900 at least 24 hours in advance.

Security

All of Amsterdam Airport’s parking facilities are secured by video surveillance and regular police patrols. However, parking is always at your own risk and the airport cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred while using the facilities.
