Taste of Amsterdam

 Culinary festivals called Taste are meetings between master cooks and the larger public. They are held last years all over the world, in different cities with events in London, Dublin, Melbourne, Dubai and Johannesburg as the most known.
Several restaurants of reputation take part in Taste of Amsterdam, just to name Le Garage, Toscanini, Vis aan de Schelde, as well as first-class restaurants known also for their moderate prices as friendly Elkaar, an elegant and sophisticated Sophia and breakfast and lunch eatery known for its innovative sandwiches Bazaar Smart Bites.
The feel: an elegant open air festival for people interested in tasty food, exquisite wines and good life in general. Amstelpark where event is held, feels crowded and very busy, but Taste festival is always cultured and relaxed. If the weather is good - a perfect outing occasion.
Timing: four days in June each year

Open: festival offers different events at different times in the evening (6 p.m. – 10.30 p.m.) and during the day (at 12 a.m.)
 Entry: Tickets start at € 12,50 when purchased before the event and € 15,- at the entry; there are also more expensive tickets (so called Premium and Premium VIP tickets) which give you more attractions at the festival; before you buy the tickets you will be asked to select the day and the time of the festival.
Tickets may be purchased on-line (E-tickets) or at the Primavera shops.

How to get there:
Amstelpark is located in the Buitenveldert district of Amsterdam, close to RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre (20 minutes walk) and the Amsterdam ring A10 (directly at the exit 109 - RAI).
You may get there by metro (Station RAI) or by bus - line 62; exit on a stop Weerdestein. If you arrive by car, there are good parking facilities next to the Amstelpark and in addition at the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre.
