International Budget Hostel, Amsterdam

The International budget hostel is located in the heart of Amsterdam on one of the most beautiful canals in the city, in the building of a former 17th-century warehouse. The hostel is a few minutes walk from the Leidseplein and very close to the museum quarter. It is mostly visited by back-packers, students and young people.

It has 4 person dorm-style rooms with shared facilities. Breakfast is available in the lounge overlooking the canal. An internet station is available at the reception area.

Rooms
The International Budget Hostel has a number of 4-person dormitory-style rooms with shared facilities, and two 2-person rooms in the attic, still with shared facilities.

Lounge
The lounge is open from 9.00am - 11pm. It is a great place to relax and socialise. Breakfast is served in the lounge over-looking the canal between 9.00am to 12.00 noon.

Rates
The price per person per night in a shared 4 person room ranges from a minimum of €23,- to a maximum of €35,- depending on the season. The rates include city tax and services. Special offers may be available upon request.

Location & directions
The International Budget Hostel is situated in the centre of Amsterdam. The lively square, Leidseplein is round the corner, offering entertainment and restaurants.

Directions
The hostel is easily reachable from Schiphol Airport, take the train to Amsterdam Central Station. From the Central Station take tram number 1, 2 or 5 to get off at the 6-th stop (Prinsengracht), turn to the right on the bridge, the next bridge is canal street labelled Leidsegracht, the hostel is on your left hand side. Walking from the station would take about 20 minutes.

Reservations
Please note that during the weekends there is a minimum stay of 2 nights (which must include the Sunday night). is applies all the year through. On the hostel's homepage (www.internationalbudgethostel.com) you will find a reservation form, but we encourage you to check directly with the reception via telephone or email.
