Hotel Mozart Amsterdam

As the name suggests, this 3 star hotel focuses on the classics. Don't expect Amadeus-style opulence however; comfortable accommodation, helpful staff and modern facilities are the classic requirements of a good mid-range hotel. Located on Prinsengracht, one of Amsterdam's most picturesque canals Hotel Mozart is close to everything. Many sights, such as the Rijksmuseum or the Flower Maket can be reached easily, as can the many night spots in and around Leidseplein.

Location
To get to Hotel Mozart take trams 1, 2 or 5 to Prinsengracht (Leidsestraat) from Centraal Station. Once off the tram take a left turn facing the direction the tram was moving and walk southeast along Prinsengracht. Hotel Mozart is on the right hand side just after the restaurant Van De Kaart.

Dining
Between 07:00 and 10:00 guests can avail themselves of a decidedly shipshape continental breakfast buffet in the breakfast room next to the front desk. For those looking for something more substantial, Hotel Mozart is in a good location to explore the surrounding restaurants. Almost right next door is restaurant Van De Kaart where, for a pretty penny, diners can enjoy some top quality international dishes, including seafood of all descriptions. Take the left turn from here onto Leidsekruisstraat to find a plethora of places to eat from all over the world and to suit any pocket.

Rooms
Hotel Mozart's 47 rooms come in single, double and triple varieties. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms, TV, telephone, radio and hairdryer as standard. Depending on the location within the hotel, rooms have either a view of the canal or the surrounding monumental buildings. Extra beds and baby cots are available on request.
