- In Internet was written that the hotel was ranovated in 2004. i think that cant´t be true. The Carpet and the bed was really ugly dirty.

- the stairs were too small and difficult to climb,telephones not functionning in the room,hot water in the room,I had broken bad issue and had to wait for hours till the the new bad arrive to the room tnx the to the intern receptionist. The receptionist ,i do not kow the name did not even find a solution and proposed me the sleep in the broken bad.I had to go down 2 floors to be able to get connected to the internet.

- then was no light over the kitchentable the kitchen tap was broken there was no light for makeup/ shawing wery dirty furnitures not clean in the apartment they said it 3 stars hotel but it was not even a 1 star

+ The rooms are extremely spacious, the view over the canal is wonderful and the furniture is comprised of Dutch and Middle European antique pieces.
- This is a former canal house - so stair treads are narrow and the stairs are steep: so not realy suitbale for those with mobility difficulties.

- Shower head was not fixed to the wall, shower did not drain so floods the bathroom. Upholstery and carpets heavily stained.

+ The hotel staff was extremely helpful, kind, and attentive. I usually only saw the day concierge Tieneke and she was exceptionally nice and helpful. The rooms were very spacious and having internet access free is extremely convenient and useful.
- Next to a nightclub so there is often noise but the windows close out the sound pretty much, it would disturb only light sleepers.

+ Room had a great view of the canals. Large room, very clean. Very secure at night. VERY close to lots of fine cafes.

+ An excellent hotel location was amazing service second to none. Stayed in the appartment very clean with plenty of room, reception very helpfull couldn't have asked for more would go back there again price very good.

+ It is very close to the Rembrandplein, the tram station, and its central location helps seightseeing on foot. The view to the Amstel canal is very nice. The room is large enough. The double bed very comfort, the toilet very-very clean and the staff very good.
- The stair was very dificult to climb up or down, especially if you had buggages to transfer. The furniture were very old. During the night (especially on Friday until six in the morning), there was terrible noise from the bar beside the hotel.
