+ The Bed and linen in the deluxe room were wonderful. Never has my wife and I been more comfortable when sleeping. The room overall was great.
Hotel staff were friendly.
The foyer on teh first floor leading to the ground floor was impressive. We loved the Art Noveau style.
- Value for money could have been slightly better.
TV reception could be improved.

+ Fantastic value for money, room was excellent and location was very good with lots of bars and cafes around it.
- Rubbish view but we weren't the room for long! Breakfast not included and very expensive but we ate out both days

+ Excelent, courteous, clean, freindly. The Cafe is splendid, with brilliant glasswork. I ordered a coffee on the terrace. It was one of the best coffees i have ever had.

the people at the front desk were very hospitable and helpful.
We would come back to stay at the American Hotel.

+ Great location, everything is nearby and it was not so noisy for a crowded place.
The room was quite big.
- Therefore there was no view from the room (a big wall).
