+ We had a truely wonderful stay, the best location, great room, clean baby cot, some staff went out of their way to accomodate my 7 month-old.
- Some staff came accross a little unfriendly (snobbish?)but that was also experienced in some of the other upscale establishments in Amsterdam. I can't remember people being like that from my previous visits.

+ The suite was wonderfull and was really well arranged. The situation of the hotel is very good and central for the town.
- Rooms were non smoking. To get a smoker room, needed to upgrade to a suite. The Video on Demand was not working iin the suite and "could not be fixed during the weekend". A commercial gesture has been made (on my request) and we received a white Chilian wine(vinegar)

+ Great location. Manager responded quickly and robustly to complaint. Currently under renovation outside. Comfortable beds. Gave us a free upgrade to our room to suite.

+ Excellent reception and concierge service.
- Bedroom was small and dark. Little room to move around easily. Disappointed with the lobby interior which we had thought would have an older style. Computer area should be out of sight or is it temporary?

+ the hotel looked very nice. it was in a great place. the room it self was very accessable.
- well, i sit in a wheelchair and i metioned that i was in a wheelchair whe i ordered the room and the hotel assured me that it was accessible for me. when i got to the hotel there was a few stairs. i felt mad, that meant i was going to need help and i wasnt free to to go and come when i wanted, but they offered help but its not why i paid soo much money. if i was told then i wouldnt of ordered the room in the first place. plus i wasnt compensated in anyway!

+ Requested a room change on arrival and was very impressed by the new room. Staff were extreamly friendly and helpful particulary the concierge.
- Could hear other guests moving about at night due to creaky floor boards. Requested the movie channel be unblocked (twice) but was not done.

+ The Concierge service was excellent the reception service was pleasant & helpful. The overall atmosphere in the hotel is very good & it has an excellent location.
- The pillows on the beds are far too big & could no be used for sleeping without your head being at a 90 degree angle! The room price was excessive considering breakfast was not included & the view was an apartment block c/w nesting pigeons.
