+ Bien situado, buen desayuno.

- El segundo dia nos digeron sin ningun reparo que no subieramos comida a la habitacion que habia ratones, el tercer dia lo pudimos comprobar que era cierto a costa de nuesta comida, aunque tapando el agujero de la tuberia de la calefacion se soluciono.... El penultimo dia al parecer dieron nuestra habitacion a otras personas porque a pesar de que nos lo cobraron no nos la habian reservado. Al final se soluciono sin mucho alboroto.

+ Central location in Amsterdam yet still quiet at night. Clean, and neat.

- Authorisation taken on credit card during booking of single room was not used as payment during check in despite the funds already being deducted from my account (ie. no longer available to me). I was forced to pay the last cash I had on me to cover the room charge. This ruined my day/night in Amsterdam as I had no more funds for lunch and dinner (etc...) and barely enough to get to Schipol the next morning. I find this unacceptable! Furthermore, the purchase was later put through on my credit card account despite my stay having been paid for with cash. This meant I paid twice for my single night's accommodation due to poor administration on the hotel's side. The issue is currently being addressed with the hotel directly - still pending a resolution. This has caused me to rate the service level as "1".

+ The room was very comparable to the three star we stayed in the night before only considerably less expensive. The breakfast was also very good, but get there early if you like eggs or cheese. The wireless internet is also very fast. Just ask at the front desk for the password.

- The fire alarm went off at four in the morning! I don't think I've ever woken up screaming in my adult life until that moment. The good news is there was no fire and if there had been, there's no way anyone could sleep through that alarm. The reason the fire alarm went off? Some knucklehead was smoking in the bottom level. Let me stress, however, that the hotel was not responsible for the actions of this idiot and handled the situation very well. When I returned to my room I looked out the window where a cab was waiting for the smoker to gather his things. Don't even think of smoking here.

+ bath room clean- towels available- staff friendly and helpful

- heating wasn't on in the room- got v cold by night-had to get that turned on as the fan wasn't working fire alarm went off at 4am because somebody decided to smoke- please change the alarm- it is horrific- sounds like screaming cat on full volume! boiled eggs in breakfast didnt seem freshly made- they were cold and I was one of the first to start breakfast

+ It's an excellent hotel. I'm very satisfied. I'd recommend it for sure. The location is great and the room was very good althought is very little. But it's clean and for a short staying is great.

- The check in is very late at 14hs.

+ Location. And comfortable mattress.

- Cleaning ladies ar a bit rude. Never smile. We ask for a doble bed, instead we got 3 single beds. Rooms are to dark .3 lights was not working.

+ The position in the city, quite in the middle of Amsterdam, so you can easily reach by foot the main areas (train station, van Gogh Museum...).

- Amsterdam is very expensive. We spent 73 euros for one night in this hotel and our room was downstairs, without windows becouse it was under the ground line and the bed was not so clean (maybe because there are some cats going around the hotel...)The breakfast was average, but not so good.

- I guess u never saw such small rooms like in this hotel. Walls are thin and we had listen weeded turkish guys in room opposite. We got triple room instead of double as we booked before. when we decided to leave earlier than planned because of the weather, they didn't give us refund.

+ The location is totally sweet, it's calm but few minutes from all important day and night places to visit! Personel is really nice and they can show you on the map the best places to see. 24h reception really works. No problems with check in late. Everything is clean. Non-smoking policy inside hotel. Price/Value ratio is great!

- Hotel is located in an old house so you can hear some noises from other rooms from time to time. I would appreciate some actual fruit for breakfast.
