+ location! price
- We asked, if the person in the reception could have called us a taxi on Monday-evening (30.7.). He asked where we are going. We said we are going to Leidseplein. He did'nt call it but ordered us to take it on the street. Breakfast without any dark-corn muesli or weetabix.

+ Very central, reception very good. the carpet on the stairs when raining was a very good idea and very useful.
- The fact that the single rooms are in another building did not make thing easy when checking in or out. Breakfast could be better

+ CLEAN ROOM, COMFORTABLE BED
- TINY ROOM, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT ROOMS WITHOUT THE CANAL VIEW MAY HAVE LESS STREET NOISE?

+ Very central location
- Hotel should be renovated, beds not that good, loud in the nights because of pub directly next to the hotel.

+ Right next to the no. 4 tram stop on Keizergracht, so you can take the tram from the central station right to the hotel. Centrally located, so good for walking to most sights.
- Like other canal side houses, there are narrow staircases to negotiate. Bring your own soap and other toiletries. The ones in my bathroom had been there long enough to stain ...

+ The location is splendid, as the hotel is well away from the alcohol-drinking, dope-smoking scene. The vicinity of the hotel is lovely, especially early in the morning when everything is so quiet and serene. The reception staff were nice and offered - without my asking - that I could leave my luggage at reception between my check-out and flight. My room (which was in the house next door) was wonderfully quiet.
- For what my room had to offer, it was a bit expensive. The room was a bit shabby and had certainly seen better days. The bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked to see it. The breakfast was not great either, especially the paper-like bread rolls.

+ Nice and tactful fellow in the reception. Pleasant location, it is close the center but outside the heavily touristic area. It is fairly clean. Not really cheap, but compared to other hotels in Amsterdam, the Armada offers an attractive price-quality ratio.
- The hotel is quite simple, don't expect too much. The furniture is cheap and the bathroom is a mess after a shower.

+ Tram stop nearby, 4 mins from rail station. Handy for restaraunts, great choice within 5 mins walking distance. Relatively cheap for a room. No internal noise noticed. Excellant shower room. Great breakfast choice. Helpful staff.
- Could be hot in summer, our room didn't have any aircon. An open window gives you traffic noise. All reflected in the price though. A nice clean room at an affordable price, no real facilities otherwise.

+ cheap, good location, we had a room with 5 beds and a view of the canal - it was fine and I would recommend it.
- we stayed on the 4th floor and there was no lift, but it wasn't a big deal really
