Easy to find.
Had everything we needed.
- No lift, had to carry heavy bags to the top floor after exhausting morning!!

+ The staff for me, really friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable of the area and what we may be looking for. When the staff are as easy to deal as they were at the art gallery hotel it makes everything else on the trip that much easier and enjoyable. We never felt rude rolling in at all hours of the morning and there was always a friendly face when you entered the hotel. I would definitely consider another stay there and recommend it.

it was nice to be able to have coffee etc. in the breakfast restaurant in the afternoons and evenings.
- very steep stairs (it was not mentioned in the description of the hotel)and breakfast restaurant in the basement.
a fan in the room would have been very nice.

+ Very clean and fairly convenient location.
- Very small single room. Basic breakfast but adequate. The sink in the room gurgled every time other guests used theirs which kept me awake.

- I found the hotel cramped and the room I booked to be too small. Breakfast was supposed to be ready at 8 am, but wasn t. I wasn t impressed by the hotel and would not go back there.

+ There is a very good and relaxed atmosphere; the persons are very kind; the area is nice and quiet, next to the city center and to the museum area. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope to return soon! Thank you very much!

The Art Gallery Hotel is a clean and friendly two star hotel wich was totally renovated in 1999. It still features a typical Amsterdam staircase. It is very centrally located, but still in a quiet area. The hotel is located opposite the Rijksmuseum, the famous Spiegelgracht and is just around the corner from the Nieuwe Spiegelgracht which is internationally known for its antique and art shops. The hotel offers you a 24-hour reception, free coffee, tea and hot chocolate, fresh fruit and a breakfast buffet. The Hotel is equipped with the most up-to-date safety standards. Please note: this hotel has a 14 days cancellation policy and charges a 2% surplus for creditcard payments. Pets are not allowed.
