This 40-bedroom hotel is in a quiet street in the heart of Amsterdam, just a two minute stroll from a wide choice of restaurants and bars. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of Amsterdam's main attractions, such as the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and the Floating Flower Market. The buzzing nightlife of the Rembrandtplein and the Leidseplein are also close at hand. Alternatively, numerous tram lines around the corner from the hotel will take you anywhere in the city. Although fully renovated and restored, and including a lift in the mainbuilding, the 19th-century building maintains much of its original character and has a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. This also means the hotel can offer a unique range of accommodation, from more economical basic rooms right through to luxury en-suite.

+ a nice hotel in a quiet area easy reachable by transport, something to do in all directions from hotel, staff polite, both my son and i enjoyed the weekend there

+ Excellent quiet location away from main streets with its noise! Very good service. Good with handwash at the room.

- Would be nice with some warm food as a choice for breakfast.
