+ The hotel is a decent value and was available when all other hotels in the city were booked, this may or may not say a lot about the hotel. We stayed in the triple room, which was pretty spacious, partially due to a lack of sufficient furniture. Given that we were using the room as merely a place to sleep, the lack of furniture was irrelevant. The staff were helpful in figuring out how to navigate through the city.
- This is a nice hotel, but it's just a little too far from the city centre. It's a 25 minute bus ride out of the city centre to it, which isn't bad but it means you have to carry everything you need on your back for the day. That being said, the transit system in Amsterdam is great and so it's relatively easy to get anywhere you want without too much difficulty and certainly very inexpensively.

+ New hotel, new facilities - room are spacious, the bathroom is gorgeous and the view from top room is nice
- I found the room a bit basic, no telephone or mini bar. Probably that's something in process to be established

+ A perfect hotel and price if you need a good place just for sleep. A very good restaurant 10 min walk from hotel. Nice and helpful people working in the reception
- No restaurant in the hotel. Only breakfast that start at 07.00. Not made for business people that have early meetings. 06.00 would be the perfect time during weekdays to start.

+ Very clean, good price, excellent bed, nice supermarket next door.
- far away from center. The amenities were not there: no coffee or tea in room, horrible layout of the room. AC was not working, when we complained, nobody offered us a solution. Excpect 15 Euros by taxi to go downtown. Night staff is very unpleasant.

+ it looks nice, fresh when you get inside the reseptie.
- no places to find cold drinks or hot. there should be somewhere INSIDE the hotel to get hold of that. a place outside (on the roof?) where you can sitt and meet others. there was not mutch info why i could not call to others room. we where 5 people at 3 rooms in different floors.

+ Great Shower. Nice bathroom, clean. Lots of windows in our room. Hotel staff was very helpful and tried to answer all our questions regarding opening times, taking the Tram, finding a church, etc. Secure parking,with a grocery store connected to parking garage.
- Beds were soft for a new hotel. We left an item in our room. Phoned hotel and they said it was not found.

+ This must be the cleanest Hotel in Amsterdam for the money - clean new hotel - the best beds I've seen in a Hotel in a long time. Wonderful, helpful Staff.
- It is a bit far from Central Station - about ten minutes by bus - cost 2.40 euro to ride bus - but you get dropped off in front of Hotel.

+ Rooms were exceptional, staff were friendly, the bar in the market square below the hotel is excellently priced if your looking to a meeting point before you go into the city.
- New hotel so prepare yourself for a few teething problems, be patient as this is a quality hotel with great views of Amsterdam from your room

The completly new Best Western Blue Tower Hotel in Amsterdam is situated on the edge of the centre of Amsterdam and is easily accessible by public transport (trainstation Sloterdijk) as well as by car (ring road A10).
