+ A lovely hotel - friendly and good service. I would book it again.
- The airport bus organised through the hotel was very late. The single room was a little small with only a single sofa-type bed. It was comfortable but a little small for an adult.

+ Great location/neighborhood near the art museums and Concertgebouw. Easy access to the rest of Amsterdam. Staff very helpful and responsive.
- A bit pricey, but that is probably just the market in Amsterdam. Room was smallish, but otherwise very comfortable.

+ Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Good location for museumspark and shops.
- We had a room at the front of the hotel and were woken every morning at 7am by what appeared to be a delivery van unloading at the hotel.

+ Of course the location is a plus point
- Rooms were not very tidy, and appearance was a bit out of this time. The rooms (beds/carpet/curtains) definitely good use an upgrade.

+ EXCELLENT STAFF. I have never stayed at a hotel with such well-trained and personable staff. They were appropriately friendly and took great pains to give directions to sights and advice on the relative worth of touring options. The desk staff at your hotel was as good as any concierge I have ever encountered, and generally better.
- The only real minuses were things out of control of the hotel. I principally came to Amsterdam expecting to spend several days at the Rijksmuseum only to find out that it is essentially closed. I never thought that a major museum would close; this was a disappointment and not your fault. Also, for an American, the exchange rate presently makes European 4 and 5 star hotels very expensive realtive to those I stay in while in America or Canada. Again, not your fault.

+ I have now stayed here twice & absolutely love the hotel. It's out of the main hustle & bustle but close enough to the city centre. Breakfast is great, rooms very clean & comfortable would definately stay again!

+ The hotel is decorated in a beautiful modern style with a lovely bar, cafe and terrace. The museums are at the end of the street along with the parks and many other attractions are a short walk away. It was a very comfortable and relaxed hotel which made my New Year all the more enjoyable
- The spa is very small and not quite what I expected, so I didn't use it but it's nice the hotel has one anyway
