+ The staff were very nice, and helpfull. the breakfast was quite good. also I was able to use my laptop in the foyer area which was a great help. I was also happy with the location as i always saty at the Pet Hein at the Vondel park and your hotel is very close to this as well I would consider to come back and stay with you
- The Front desk area very old and my first two days stay were in a room with no windows the TV was positioned above the bed so could not look at it. it also was a smoking room so it was smelly.

The location was good - a fancy street
- The toilet was very small and there was no cover on the water-closet so it was a risk to drop your toiletries in it - we asked for a cover but they have none.
The room was very small too.
I couldn't pay with my Diners Club Credit Card.

+ very courteous staffs, convenient location, great room
- hotel name changed not mensioned in ads, late check-in time (14:00) but minimum facility for arriving guests especially long distance travelers, broken elevator (fixed in 1 day) and hair drier (a new one replaced immediately)

+ Great view over the park, nice large windows that opened. Clean updated bathroom, good hot water, good shower, water pressure. Good lighting. Hair dryer. Elevator. Good location. Breakfast was very good every day. Beds were comfortable. Cleaning staff did a good job every day. Color TV with remote...worked well.
- My biggest beef was the toilet...Toilet needs a COMPLETE lid without a 'hole' in the middle so you can put towels or clothes on it since the bathroom is so small. Also, extra toilet paper would be helpful. At least a 'spare' on hand at all times. All the lights did not work. Very dim lighting in the room. Need an extra blanket. Maybe shelving would help so that items could be off the floor due to small size of room. Staff could be more helpful. Phone didn't work well in the lobby. Furniture could be updated/replaced...mabye taller double tier closet so all clothes could be put away. Smallest room I have ever stayed in in Europe...including tiny room in Paris! Prices in A-Dam are very expensive.

- They put me in a cupboard downstairs in the basemment, with a view of a dirty backyard through the window which I was, it turned out, lucky to have on that floor. Further, I went up and down the street three times, because the facade featured another name than the one given on the website

- Breakfast was not very good, jam did not taste at all, juice tasted like some artificial extract. So please do improve the breakfast, this needs some work.

+ The breakfast provided is simple but generous with quite a number of choices of food. The lady who serves in the cafe is very efficient & friendly.
- I find the noise of shutting of doors is quite annoying & unacceptable, especially in the middle of the night when you are trying to go to sleep. I personally tested myself, but it seems impossible to shut the door without causing too much noise because of the door hinge, the door just bounced back with a huge noise.
