+ Fantastic location on Damrak, less than 2 minutes way from all attractions.
- Ceilings very low, If your taller than 6ft your gonna have to slouch alot and the stairs are very steep.

+ Spot on location, right in the heart of Amsterdam with some shops right outside the door selling everything you need when you wake up - coffee, food and cigarettes. Bathroom was brilliant as we had a bath with shower and a double sink and it was a very large bathroom. Vending machine with snacks and ciggys came in handy.
- Our window faced prob one of the noisiest areas so could here all the partying, also walls are very thin. There are soooo many steps and they are very steep and no lift, not too bad as we were 1st floor. Could only find 1 plug socket (founf the other 2 behind the bed about 5 minutes before we left) No mirror near the socket so doing hair proved a task! Our room was very dark even with all the lights on. May i add that i think it depends on the room as to what pro's and con's you get as everything missing/bad in our room was ok in our friends and vice versa

+ excellent location.friendly staff.security lockers available.ive stayed here 3 times before and would definately stay again.
- no smoking facilities(cigarettes!).i feel such facilities should be made available.also the showers are a little small.

+ have not any other pricing information to compare so unable to answe this question, seems about right. the dutch are lovely people the staff were excellent. position could hardly be bettered.
- we asked for a first floor double room which they kindly gave us but it was very small, not enough room to hang clothes! the rooms on the upper floors are bigger- previous stay. visit again i would look for a hotel with twin beds for more comfort .middle aged couple

+ it was in the centre of town so was easy to find our way around, the staff were courteous especially the young boy on night duty and the chinese guy.
- someone broke into our room and stole my wallet and my £300 brand new mobile phone and it could only of been a guest at the hotel. Nobody seemed to care that I lost about 50 euro's and the phone, it ruined our honeymoon there are no safety cameras around inside building which would have told us who the thief was. all in all a very expensive honeymoon.
