+ Location is great, all major coffee shops within a few minutes walk.
- Nothing spectacular on quality, you get what you pay for. The hotel did not handle the power cut (from interior renovations, ps, the place looks like a building site!) very well. No candles for a bit of light and a 'what can I do type of attitude'. The television did not work and the breakfast is nothing special. I have stayed here a few times, and to be honest I think this hotel has gone downhill in recent times. I will be looking about for somewhere else the next visit unless the Cordial gets its act together.

- Hugh price difference between staying for New Year's versus an off peak time. Additional charge of 3% for credit card payments. Showers don't have a tray so water runs all over the bathroom.

- very very small rooms/bathrooms. poor facilities. thin walls. noisy longterm construction outside front of hotel. bathroom sink was actually in my tiny bedroom which unbelievably was a twin room. no cold water from sink??.. stains on bed cover
