+ Very warm fealing from the staff, worthy of four stars, clean, stylish and high class bathrooms. Very close to bars, cafes and restaurants but still extremely quiet inside. Good value quality restaurant in the hotel. Got a great advance deal through www.hotels.nl The memory foam toppers on the big beds make them very comfortable - overall a very classy place at a great price
- Location map with tram details would have been helpful for arrival. (trams pass front door) If you arrive at the Eden Hotel (opposite the canal) as opposed to the Eden Rembrandt Hotel, they are connected (back to back) with a connecting corridor to the left of reception for easy access. The two hotels have got a joint bar, breakfast room and restaurant but nothing detrimental in this

+ Great room, nicely furnished with huge, comfortable beds. Bathroom really modern with nice large bath! Best hotel we have stayed in in Amsterdam, will most definitely return.
- Only one small minus point, the bathroom doors did not give very much privacy !! May be a problem for people that are not intimate with each other :P

+ We were extremely happy with the service we received, the staff were very friendly. The room was lovely the beds comfortable. The room service was great but a little expensive. The location was great. The glass in the shower to the bedroom was quirky! We liked it!
- Why was there an arrow on the wall, we didn't understand this!

+ Very modern rooms, clean, great location!
- My queen size bed was 2 twins pushed together, not real comfortable for 2 people.... this is my only complaint, and I would gladly stay here again.

+ This hotel is in a great location, we usually stay by the Leidseplein, but thought we would try this area for a change. As it is just off the Rembrandtsplein, its close enough to walk everywhere & the tram stop is almost outside the door, but its quiet too, we were there on new years eve, on the 2nd floor & didnt hear any street noise. They upgraded our room to a junior suite, which was very nice, but really it was only the same size as a standard room in other hotels we have stayed at in the Dam, made me wonder what the standard rooms were like! Bathroom was large & the rain shower is amazing, but as it has no screen & is like a wet room, everything gets wet, even if its on the other side of the room! Impossible to dry your hair in there while someone is having a shower, so a bit impractical, a glass shower screen would solve this. All in all, a perfectly acceptable 4 star hotel.
- THE MINI BAR! Dont even open the fridge, as everything has a sensor & if you nudge it, you will be charged for it! And this goes for the crisps & nuts on the side too. The bed was 2 singles pushed together & even though i asked for a double, it was made up as 2 singles & when we asked to have it changed & then went out for 7 hrs, it was the same when we got back, so we had to wait outside the room while they did it. The reception staff were very curt, to the point of rudeness.I arranged a late checkout for 5pm & agreed a price, then i got a call at 1pm as nothing had been noted on the system & they gave us 20mins to get packed & get out! As we didn't fly till 10pm, this wasn't a good end to an otherwise nice break

+ Fantastic beds, really nicely fitted bathrooms...we were really happy with the standard of the accomadation, as we brought elderly guests, they were also impressed. Would use and recommend hotel to others.
- Could do with some kind of shower screen even though the room is a wet room..toilet etc gets wet.

+ Fantastic hotel with lovely bathroom and very comfy bed. Our room was spacious, clean and inviting. Just tucked away from the Rembrandt Square it was convenient for all the museums and main strip.
- Given that the outside temperature in December fell to -7, we would have liked a quicker heating system. The room was not freezing, but it did take a while to warm up.
