+ Great for centre of amsterdam, but not too noisy. Still had a good nights sleep.
Very clean presentable room. Would rebook if we go back.
A lttle pricey, but on balance was worth it.

+ very nice hotel and staff friendly and helpful, turn right on leaving the hotel and everything is there within a 5 minute walk, excellent.
- only that the breakfast was so expensive.

- when I asked for a recommendation for a restaurant I was told of one nearby but was given the wrong directions . It took us 15 minutes to find the restaurant that was 100 m from the hotel. (the local knowledge was not the best)

+ Great central location.
Wonderful polite and helpful staff.
The room was very quiet considering the location was so central.
Room had been recently redecorated and was very comfortable with efficient airconditioning.
We appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities in the room also

+ We were very pleased with the standard of hygiene and the general standard of the facilities provided. The reception staff were friendly, the hotel was in a great location and not too noisy when the window is shut.
- We were placed in a non-smoking twin room on our first night despit booking a double room, however upon requesting a smoking double room we were moved. The smoking room was not as well equiped as the non-smoking - there was no iron.

- we booked the excutive room it was not theat large it put me in mind of a holiday in and for the price we could have stayed some where much nicer we were also suppose to get a newspaper to our room every day but out of the 5 nights we were there we only got one also we were ment to have bath robes and never seen any of them.
we also booked a smoking room and got a non smoking room and when we contacted reception we were near enough told it was tough luck so we will not be staying there again and would advise any one that wants a nice hotel to go elswhere

+ Hotel was a few minutes walk from Central Station. It was very clean and spacious for Holland. Just off the main streets it was so quiet, we never heard a thing in the night. Staff was very accomodating. We ate one evening at Humphrey's next door and the meal was fabulous. Will recommend this to anyone staying in Amsterdam.
- The public area where the computers were located was a little less than attractive. Also it smelled strongly of smoke.

+ Location is fantastic, walking distance to trams and very close to good coffeeshops. Free internet in lobby. Will hold baggage before and after checkout no problem.

+ Quite clean and well-positioned in the neighborhood. Convenient to restaurants, museums and other tourist sites.
- Felt the room to be a bit small. Had to maneuver around the closet to enter my room.

+ Here are the plus points..
1-Very convenient location, just few meters away from the city center.
2-Friendly staff.
3- Free Wirelss Internet connection.
- Rooms require more attention in terms of cleanness.. other wise all in order.

+ Very good location. Nice room with a comfortable kingsize bed. Airconditioning and tea and coffee making facilities made us feel home. Ice-making machine in the corridor!
- The service was too slow. We had to call three times to get an ashtray in our room.
The breakfast was not included in the rate, and we considered it expensive, but we found lots of cafes nearby where one could get a perfect Dutch breakfast at a more reasonable price.
