+ Great view of the canal nearby.
The people at the reception were very helpful and nice.
- Television Information System showed extra price for breakfast we did not have.
The room was not cleaned after the last customer(s), there were paper towels on the floor.

+ 1)Very nice view from the room over the Amstel.
2) Pleasant reception although not everyone seemed to master the Dutch language!
- 1)During drinks before dinner I asked for a Bock Beer. The waiter looked as if he had never heard of this and informed me that this was not available. I beleive that even 1st class hotels should serve this during the Bock Beer period.
2)The breakfast room seemed rather small to accomodate the guests leading to waiting times.

+ Close to RAI
- For the price and size of room, we will NEVER STAY in this hotel again. Can't believe the pricing of the room has a 100 Euro swing between weekend and weekdays. We were very disappointed especially when the beds were very soft, had requested for change, the front desk rep were not helpful - answered "all beds are the same". Reason for staying at Apollo was because of the proximity to RAI, but knowing that Holiday Inn and others were just as close, we now know there are better choices!

+ Breakfast is excellent and the view from the restaurant is beautifull. Service is also good.
- If you intend to stay out until late in the night, location is a problem because the last tram departs at 00:10h from the Central Station and its not an easy walk after a night out. Taxy will be the only chance (about: 16-20¤). If this is not your case, then I´d say that locations is OK, because its relaxing, nice views and easy to reach by tram# 5.
