+ All the staff, reception, foodservice, and maid service were very helpful and friendly. Their great attitudes and skill helped make my stay a very pleasant and memorable one. Tate from the food service was especially hospitable. The location by the park, the area in back with the tables and the lake, the sky windows in my room, the jacuzzi bathtub and excellent shower, the great breakfast buffet and beautiful interior of the hotel-all amazing! Thank You!
- Sound carrying easily between rooms, smoke somehow drifting into the room one morning, light switch for bathroom in odd place

+ Although the room was small, it was very pretty and well appointed and we enjoyed it. Slanted windows facing the sky. The bathroom, even though small, did have very good amenities. Beautiful serene location, a short tram ride away to the main tourist locations, lovely views of the Vondelpark, great service.
- Room was very small for 2 people (esp. for price). Going up and down a narrow stairwell inside the room with luggage was challenging.

+ A very comfortable and quiet hotel.Some distance from the centre(tram service excellent & just around the corner),though an advantage for peaceful nights. We stayed for 6 nights.the breakfasts were consistently good
- Would have preferred non smoking lounge.One inconsiderate business resident conducting a loud tele conversation in the breakfast room

+ Very comfortable room and friendly helpful staff. Proximity to transport and all the major sights was unbeatable.
- Quality of breakfast buffet mediocre. Coffee in particular was not good in comparison to what is available in every cafe in Brussels.

+ Staff nice and very helpfull. Lovely building. Excellent view of Vondelpark, room quiet and cosy. Some nice restaurants near the hotel.Very near tram (2 & 16). Excelent parking possibilities on nearby steets with day ticket Hotel de charme, très bien situé, avec si vous avez de la chance une vue directe sur le Vondelpark. Très facile de garer sa voiture dans les rues proches de l'hotel avec un ticket a la journée. Personnel très disponible et serviable. Bon restaurant à proximité de l'hotel Bonne adresse

+ That said, the lobby was beautiful and downstairs common areas were beautiful as well. Plus the In Room Nespresso was a HUGE HIT with my husband. We liked the jacuzzi and shower as well.
- It was an old room and poorly in need of re-decoration. A complete disappointment.

+ Lovely people. Good location (long way from centre but very near tram) with good views and a nice area of town. Nice rooms, good facilities. We liked the decor (maybe not to everyone's taste though). Really didn't believe how cheap it was for the quality.
