+ The location couldn't have been better - it was fantastic for us in that respect. Central but quiet and in a beautiful spot. The people working in the hotel were also very nice and helpful, and we would like to thank the staff.
- We found the room a bit dark and a bit basic (particularly compared with the write up on the web-site). But it was satisfactory for a few days' stay. PLEASE NOTE: you have a health and safety issue on the bottom step into the lobby from the bedrooms, which was not properly highlighted - I fell and sprained my ankle, which has only just recovered, and I badly bruised my knee in the fall. Not so good!

+ I loved the place. Highly recommendable! Friendly, relaxed welcome and the garden is a treat! Location? Cannot be beaten. Not looking for luxury just comfort and cleanliness.
I come to Amsterdam for work as does my husband so answering "group" question is hard. Like I said I would return and will without doubt recommend.
- stayed in single room overlooking garden,(106?). Great having garden close, BUT please renew or wash curtain at garden door. Also, mirror and dressing table are not in alignment. Breakfast waitress was a touch unsmiley???

Situated on Amsterdam's most beautiful and well known canals is the Hampshire Inn- Prinsengracht . This outstanding building is situated only on a 10 minutes walk from the Rijks museum, Van Gogh museum and Stedelijk museum. The area offers plenty possibilities to find your way, walking or even cycling, into the centre of the city and to enjoy the shopping streets, squares with cafe's and many restaurants.

These rooms are actually divided in two separate single rooms with a connecting door. The shower and toilet are situated in one of the rooms. The room is equipped with the following facilities: shower, toilet, hair dryer, flat screen TV, telephone and private safe. The twin rooms are situated on the front side of the hotel with canal view.

The Hamphire Inn - Prinsengracht has two very spacious and luxurious rooms with a kingsize bed. Both rooms are situated on the front side with a view of the Prinsengracht. One room is located on the second floor and the other one is situated on the 6th floor (see picture). This is a unique experience! A little garden house in the heart of Amsterdam. This garden house has two separate bedrooms. One room is equipped with a double bed and the other with two separate beds. The bathroom with shower and toilet is situated in between the rooms that both have their own entrance. Futhermore, the rooms are provided with a small sitting ares, flatscreen television, desk, hair dryer and safe.
