+ Excellent all round. Big rooms,Furniture,Clean rooms,Neat Bedsheets,Solid Beds, and fantastic Room layout.This is a 4 Star Hotel ! I will use it again and again !!
- Please include direction to the hotel by Metro and by walking as well.Example, by Metro, take Line 50 and get off at Heemstedestraat station.Out of the station turn right and first left onto Heemstedestraat. Walk about 200 metres pass under the overhead bridge (A10 ).Turn right on Poeldijkstraat.At the end of Poeldijkstraat turn right on Voorburgstraat. Hem Hotel is on your right hand side. This will help a lot of tourist new in Amsterdam.

+ Rooms without direct view of the highway are quiet. If you go to Amsterdam to see the city not the hotel this one's great for you.
- Next to a highway so be careful which room you take. *Some* rooms have a view of a blind wall few meters ahead. Ones on lower floors might be dark.

- The hotel has air condition but doesn't work. We can't open to window and the air in the room was very heavy.I called to reception about this problem they says they know about this problem but they can't solve because they doesn't have another room. I don't recommend this hotel. And other thinks like hygiene was very poor, also my bed was little broken.

+ The room was quite cheap compared to the other hotels in the area. Convenient shuttle to the airport.

+ Receptionist staff always friendly and very helpful even when very busy well done to all. Availability of snacks excellent idea. Outdoor Areas well provided for well done. Good Security for vehicles especially our Motor Cycle felt very comfortable leaving the bike.
- Only 1 Lift/elevator Room backed onto working Fire Station with associated noise. Charge for Wi Fi Connection OTT most Hotels do not charge at all and if they do you can purchase this service for 1 hour @ 1 Euro. Parking Charge for motorcycle!!!!!!! Although we were charged half the car rate wgat is this about A motorcycle takes up no room again this is the first hotel to do this. One English Tea Bag in the room Please are things that bad you can only leave 1 tea bag and 1 herbal!!!!!!!
