- During my stay the bath thub curtain was torn so I asked the room service to change it and nothing was done. As well the price is quite expensive compering to the quality.

+ Staff were very friendly and helpfull.Great location and area of the city - good walk in to city centre.
- Very basic rooms with tiled floors, basic bathrooms and no feeling of comfort and warmth in the rooms. Breakfast was included but also very basic.

+ We really enjoyed the stay at this place. I would recommend this my friends, anytime. It has direct trams to almost all key locations, yet away in across a lovely garden.

+ Although the dining area was out of bounds during our stay, breakfast was bought up to our room every morning, which was nice. The staff on reception were very friendy and the hotel was generally a very nice place to stay. I would definately stay there again.
- The dining area was out of bounds during our stay, as there were building works being carried out. Also the 4th bed in our room was a pull out bed which we weren't aware of until the day we arrived.

Aalborg Hotel is a typical family owned hotel with 36 rooms situated right opposite the beautiful Sarphatipark and near the centre of Amsterdam and the RAI Congress Centre. The hotel was founded in 1952 and completely renovated in 2006. Hotel Aalborg has only a breakfast restaurant. Within 250 meters of the hotel you will find all kinds of restaurants (Dutch, French, Italian, Chinese, Thai, Spanish, Indonesian, etc.). The reception is open day and night. Coffee, tea, beer, soft drinks, snacks, postcards, stamps and cigarettes can be bought 24 hours a day.
