+ Good quiet street but very easy to get to Museums and Leidensplein for restaurants.
- Don't rely on the airport hotel collection system. The bus was 3/4 hour late collecting us for our return flight. When we asked reception they said it often was, but hadn't told us when we booked the return the day before - this would have been helpful. Had to keep asking them to call and find out what was happening.

+ The staff on Reception were freindly helpful and courteous always and greeted us warmly on arrival even though we arrived before official book in time our room was available. Our room was spacious and peacefull although quite chilly on the afternoon we arrived. Location was perfect for our purposes.
- The decoration in our room was quite shabby and the furnishings sparce and faded. Also no drawers in the room at all; just generally needed some tlc.

+ The staff were extremely helpful, especially the ladies at reception, who recommended some excellent restaurants to us. They booked the restaurants and other trips for us and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very clean -apart from some stains on the carpet - and it was of a good size. It was plenty warm enough and the bathroom was excellent Breakfast was good, though some other choices of fruit would have been most welcome. We would certainly stay there again.
- Stains on bedroom carpet. Poor fitting windows, when closed, which meant using pieces of paper to stop them rattling at night, when it was windy. More choice of fresh fruit for breakfast.
