- got things stolen in the room by the cleaners, and ending up aruing and they claimed i juist forgot that i had my things there, i got no backup from the hotel, that instead backed up the clea´ning company, cause of the reason that they trust them more. im amazed that i couldent get my rights casu it was no big amount of value that had been put in the trash, but the hotel shoyuld have standed up for my rights, since all indeed confirmed they had been in the room. So im very dissapointed with the hotel stay and it ruined my days in amsterdam.

+ The hotel is in a fabulous location -- very close to the central station & walking distance to all the attractions. Although it's located in a lively area, we did not find it too noisy to sleep. There's lots of food around the hotel & the staff are very friendly. Bring slippers for the shower!
- Don't expect a hot breakfast (not even toast) but coffee is good.

Hotel De Mallemoolen is a one-star budget hotel, situated in the centre of Amsterdam. Central Station is just a 2 minute walk away. De Mallemoolen is located in a lively street full of bars, restaurants, shops and other tourist attractions. The hotel has no elevator and in a typical Dutch monumental building it means you have to climb steep stairs! The hotel has a 24-hour reception and a luggage room.
