+ The people who work there are nice and wishful to help you in case of need. Our room was clean and we had all the conforts wished (but we also asked for an expensive room... But everything worked). I recommend the shared rooms because they seemed very well kept. The hostal is not so close to DAM square but by bycicle you get there in 5 minutes.
- The hostal is close to a channel, so it's likely that you find some mosquitos in the room unless you close the windows. The breakfast was just ok.

+ Location, price for the "family apartment," and the basic Dutch breakfast.
- No parking but the Amsterdam City remote parking plan is a good alternative as you realy do not need or want a car to tour the city.
