+ Great, peaceful location. Clearly just renovated bathroom&toilet.
- Some mold in the wall of the room....Ok for one night but for longer stay i would immedially demand for room change. Staff told us that it's taken care of. Walls filled with slammed mosquitoes. Also in the ground floor room breakfast-preparing makes quite some noise in the morning.

+ Nice location
- Bad smell in the bathroom, which is very narrow. The so-called double bed in the double room is very small (appr. 120 cm)and hardly provides sufficient space for 2 people Room was very hot, lots of mosquitos - we got stiches on the whole body and hardly slept the whole night. Bed sheet too small to cover whole of the mattress... No elevator, narrow staircase. No hairdryer.

+ the wallpaper is lovely, the bed very comfortable: the large double room 201 has a rear view over gardens of about 30 flats to make james Stewart jealous.
- Slightly out on a limb, the hotel is slightly overpriced and little things are not yet quite right:broken towel-rail; miniscule shampoo that slips through soap dish (no soap);flat screen tv that doesn\'t adjust angle for watching from bed;no tea coffee facilities.Just all a little bit not quite right.

+ Quiet, clean, a boutique feel and friendly staff
- No elevator, so it\'s a tiring journey to travel up to as much as five floors with a heavy suitcase. No telephone and you have to leave a deposit to get a remote to use the television. $% surcharge to pay with a credit card.

+ Included bathroom, fresh towels daily, right on the canal
- Seems that hotels in Amsterdam (even pricier ones) don't have a trap in the sink, and you get some unpleasant smells coming up from the drains...

+ The location of the Hotel
- The stairways to go to the rooms are too narrow and dangerous.

+ Very clean and comfortable Very convenient - ideal for families - not too close to the hustler and bustle and yet not too far from the limelight . Very friendly staff and cooperative Reasonable priced.

+ Location was great. Room was clean.
- Bad smell in the bathroom. Bathroom was very little, it was difficult to wash yourself. Walls are very thin, you can hear the neighborous well.. Some kind of electric ventilator would be nice in the room, because room was very hot.
