+ Very nice and comfortable hotel with friendly personel and good breakfast. In other words an excellent hotel for its price. The location was great - the museum area and the Vondelpark are really close to it.

+ We had a lovely room (15) and it was very clean and comfortable. Location was great, and our welcome on arrival was very warm.

- Old elevator,very small and old rooms.Very expencive for 100Euro per day.my estimation is the rooms that we stayed worth not more than 70Euro.

+ Terrific staff! Clean, cozy rooms, soft comfortable beds. For the price you cannot get anything better in Amsterdam. The location is terrific. This was my third visit and second time I've stayed at Hotel Hestia. My last visit started in a different hotel that was the same price, but so offensive that I had to change to Hotel Hestia.
- The bathrooms are something out of a Tim Burton movie. I'm surprised I didn't hear a Danny Elfman tune ever time I lifted the toilet seat lid.

Hotel Hestia in Amsterdam is a friendly family run hotel. Situated in a peaceful area on the edge of the famous Vondelpark in the heart of Amsterdam, very near to the centre. The Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, casino, shopping streets and entertainment are all within walking distance.
