+ great location 1 min walk to the Leidersplein very clean and tidy, breakfast was enjoyable
- ours was a tiny room for 2 people to share,very steep stairs & tiny lift (fits 2) Not great value at 104euro per night but then again im finding that there are no good priced hotels in the centre of Amsterdan anymore

+ Excellent location and a great price. Nice breakfasts however a bit of diversity would have been nice given that I was there for 8 nights. Wonderfully kind and helpful staff. Very clsoe to a lot of public transit. Close to a nice park for running if you are so inclined.
- A little bit too small of a room, but, as other reviews note, are you really going to be in your room that much when you are in Amsterdam?. You'll need tobe comfortable with a ver small and slow elevator unless you are into walking up steep stairs ( I was on the 5th floor)

+ Staff in hotel is very kind. Room was clean and hotel is in nice area near Vondel park and you can hear birds singing in the morning.
- Bathroom needs renovation imediatelly ! Hotel is pretty expensive for quality that is offering, but all hotels in Amsterdam are too expensive anyway .

+ The Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was just right, comfortable, clean and the curtains being black out made sleeping so much easier. Fantastic would book again.
- Sadly the other Guests were very noise on the Friday night

+ The staff were friendly and the location was great. This hotel is very close to the museum area and the Liedseplein night life area. I would definitely stay here again.
- Tiny room, but that's to be expected in Amsterdam. My shower was not separated from the sink or toilet. The entire bathroom floor got soaked when I showered since it was not separated at all. No soap in bathroom.

- the bedrooms are disgracefully tiny, we couldnt even walk around the bed. the lift was very slow and creaky.

Hotel Hestia in Amsterdam is a friendly family run hotel. Situated in a peaceful area on the edge of the famous Vondelpark in the heart of Amsterdam, very near to the centre. The Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, casino, shopping streets and entertainment are all within walking distance. All rooms are equipped with bath/shower, toilet, television and radio, telephone, hair-dryer, safe, minibar and wireless Internet acces. There is an elevator and a charming garden as well.
