- TV was bad, even 2 days after I complained. no elevator to my room on 2nd floor. Carpet not fixed to floor.

+ The room was comfortable, nice to have individual bath en suite.
- Multiple fire alarms in the middle of the night from partiers smoking in the hallway. Instead of coming up the stairs to find out what was going on, the front desk called my room to find out if I was smoking in my room. Very annoying, not to mention dangerous in case there was a real fire. I'm not sure, but I think the people smoking in the hallway were not guests, but people seeking a warm place to get high.
The breakfast was typical.
The stairs are very steep.

- We appreciate very much the hotel, the room, the nice and pretty girl at the reception....but we think you can improve the breakfast lunch and the bed ad rooms hygiene.
We think that the next time in A. we will return to Hotel Linda....so we will check!!!

+ Breakfast was good, plenty of variety and helping yourself meant you had a good fill up for the day ahead.
- There was no lift, I would not want to stay at the hotel if I was not on the first floor. A lot of noise came from the room above until quite late in the night!. Better sound proofing would be advised.

Hotel Linda is a monumental building that was recently renovated. The hotel is an excellent starting point for discovering the many charms of Amsterdam. In addition to the large number of cosy restaurants, cafes, the famous "Albert Cuypmarkt" and the excellent shops in "De Utrechtsestraat", the entertainment centre with its many discotheques, the Opera and the city's museums are in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The hotel comprises a private parking place (which is unique for Amsterdam) and can also easily be reached by public transport: From Schiphol the train to Amsterdam Central Station or RAI. Then take tram nr. 4 or 25, stop Stadhouderskade. Hotel Linda lies on 50 m. from the stop.
