Orfeo is Amsterdam's largest gay-friendly hotel. The hotel was established in 1969. Located in the center of the city, it is situated within a short walk to the Leidseplein, the Kerkstraat gay scene, the Reguliersdwarsstraat gay scene, and Vondelpark. We are also within a short walk to Amsterdam's major art museums; the Rijksmuseum (the National Museum), the van Gogh museum, and the Stedelijk (Modern Art) museum. You can also find the Thermos Day and Thermos Night, a casino, the City Theater, and cinemas nearby. Films at the cinemas are shown in their original language with Dutch subtitles.
Please note: The hotel will be closed for renovation from April 1st until December 31st 2007.
