+ Good breakfast and fairly friendly staff.

- I returned on my last day to find the door kicked open and £10 in coins left in an ashtray stolen. There are notices advising guests to place valuables in the hotel safe, nevertheless, this level of security is unacceptable.

+ reasonable breakfast

- Horrible tooms, bunkbeds in room, tatty carpets, worn sheets and towels full of holes, narrow winding stairs difficult with luggage, overall a poor hotel and a waste of money, don't stop there

+ On the Overtoom. So the location was good. Brakfast was good. But would've been nicer if fresh Coffee was served rather than a machine.

- TV was too high. Had to crane your neck to watch it. Basin was clogged from Day one. Reception seemed to bored to fix it. Finally on day 3, African guy, unclogged it with dain cleaner and it stank like hell for the next two days.

+ The bathroom and toilet are not clean. I think it should be cleaned everyday. Also, the price is quite high but actually it is common in amsterdam.

- The room is quite comfortable, and the location is very good.

+ The location meant we could walk to Leidseplein within minutes, stroll in nearby vondel park, & the tram halt was close by, other than that a dreadful place.

- We had to pay cash, there was no warning of this, the card machine had been 'cut off' from the bank, which was a great inconvinience, it being Queens day, the cash machines were either attracting a long queue, or, out of cash. The staff were surley slmost rude, being on a main route in/out of A'dam, a major intersection for 3 tram routes, it was incredibly noisy, we were located on the top most floor, which was very hot, we had to have the windows open, there was no alternative, a dreadful vile place, a mistake to stay there, NEVER again.

+ Cool location, just a couple blocks away from liedseplien.

- showers were stinky and mildewey. The rooms were about what they should have been price-wise, nothing horrible to say, but its not a five star hotel.

+ Not a bad location, close to a park and with good bars and restaurants close by but away from the mass of the tourists. On a major tram line from (number 1) the centraal station.Friendly staff.

- Too hot not to have a window open, too noisy not to have the window closed. Lack of en suit facilities was inconvinient, but to be fair I was aware of that situation, but as I was travelling light I did not have a towel with me, so some towels in the room would have been nice. People smoking in the hotel made everything smell.

+ Close to the center and Leidseplein and Paradiso Club. Very close to tram stop (line 1). Cheap for young people/couples. Friendly staff. Breakfast included on price (coffe, toast, orange juice,etc)

- Many & high stairs...quite a problem at nights u know! No bathroom per room, just 1 or 2 every plant. little noisy cause the trams.
