+ Was in an excellent location, very quiet. Excellent service when we arrived. The room was also available and ready for us even though we arrived very early. Very polite and friendly reception staff.

+ The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the city centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and breakfast was first class.
- The price was just little more expensive than we had wished, but it was still great value.

+ Location was good for Leidseplein, Concertgebouw, Museums, room was nice and clean.
- Service wasn't particularly welcoming, room was tiny and rather noisy (facing street on ground level), and it was overpriced.

- The service was horrendous -- rude, unhelpful, and inefficient. The staff felt that they were doing you a favor by allowing you to pay to stay at the hotel. I would never stay there again.

+ I was very pleased during my stay. I flew in from Kuwait for vacation and will probably return this December. I look forward to staying at the Prinsen once again.

+ A solicitous and helpful staff, a great location away from the noise and hubbub yet close to trams and canals, a clean (albeit tiny) comfortable room, quite acceptable breakfasts. As an older woman traveling alone I felt quite safe and well treated.

+ Very good location close to the city centre. Excellent service at breakfast and by the reception personnel at time of checking in and out as well as recommendations for restaurants.
- Rooms very small and a small number of guests did not consider other guests on returning very late to their rooms
