+ Genial host and friendly staff, especially the waiters at breakfast. Great location for museums and centre of town. Clean, well appointed room and a good breakfast. we would definetly stay there again if visiting Amsterdam on a bit of a budget
- The breakfast was heartly but uninspiring. Also the bed was too soft for my liking but we slept well regardless.

- Neighbour room disturbances. No insulation between room/cooridor. Loud level disturbing. Door to room needs adjusting. Telephone did not work.

+ great location. wonderful staff. we read some negative things about the hotel prior to booking, but our experience was the complete opposite. anyone who has a negative opinion of this hotel or the cleanliness has never traveled in europe. if you want american service, don't leave the contigous 48. otherwise- the prinsen is wonderful!

+ the location is great, everyone at the front desk was very helpful and friendly, the bed was comfortable, i was given a nice room after an email request
- More choices for breakfast would be nice, the toiletries offered were not great
