+ We liked it enough that we returned this summer after having staying in your hotel in 1999. The staff was congenial and helpful.
- The reason I rated your hotel low on price/quality was that I considered it highly priced vs other places we stayed thoughout France. However, I realize because it is near the heart of the city it would be more. Our problem in comfort was it was too hot! Duveys do not work when it is hot and no sheets were available as a substitute.

- There should have been mentioned that if you want a non-smoking room, it's a special request.... In Finland if you book a room, it's always non-smoking and only on special request you will get the a room, where you can smoke !

+ Everything was clean.
The staff were friendly and very helpful.
Breakfast was good.
The hotel cat was lovely!
I hope I will come back - Amsterdam was great.
- Air conditioning would be nice.
Single room very small - but OK.
The instructions how to use the safe were difficult to follow and I had to assign a new number every time I opened the door.
I difficulty in getting the door key to my room to work properly

+ Was in an excellent location, very quiet.
Excellent service when we arrived. The room was also available and ready for us even though we arrived very early.

Recently renovated and enlarged, the hotel now consists of 45 rooms and can accomodate up to ninety guests. All the rooms have a color TV and telephone, a private safe, a hairdryer as well as an en-suite bathroom with toilet. The hotel is located in a quiet, residential area, but a mere stone's throw from the buzzing Leidseplein, Casino, Rijks Museum, Stedelijk Museum, Van Gogh Museum, Concert Gebouw (the famous concert hall) and many other theatres. Thanks to the prime location of the Prinsen Hotel, the staff is sure your stay with them will be an enjoyable one. Dogs are allowed at a fee. So is wireless and non-wireless Internet.
