+ excellent location, my second visit to amsterdam our first hotel was a way out an a lot more noisey i thought this hotel would be noisey as right in dam square but totally the oppisite realy enjoyed our stay staff very helpfull and friendly def will book this hotel again on our next visit . also breakfast was lovely
- there was no minus points only if you are not a smoker the room smelt smokey not a problem for me an my hubby as we both smoke

+ One of the nicer places to stay in Amsterdam, right on Dam Square so really convenient. Room was really clean, with a good size bathroom with bath tub and shower. Room also had a safe. A very good breakfast was provided to set you up for the day. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would return there no question.
- Price is a bit high, but for location/quality still compares very well to other hotels in Amsterdam.

breakfast is good for a 3 star hotel
- the room was very small and warm; bad ventilation; the hotel did provide an electric fan but air conditioning would have been a plus.

+ The location of this hotel is fantastic and the staff very friendly and helpful. We will definitely look at staying here again on our next visit to Amsterdam!

+ I liked the hotel, but Amsterdam is an expensive city. So, this hotel was expensive, too. I saw others hotels and they were expensive, too. It is the price at Amsterdam. The City is very, very beautyful.

+ Good quality breakfast included. Friendly and helpful staff. Looked after my bags after I'd signed out until I left for Schipol.
- TV remote didn't work properly - this wasn't a big issue as I didn't watch much TV

+ Great location right on top of the Dam Square. Friendly staff.
- Room reeked of smoke, and it almost made it unbearable to sleep in it. Bathroom was shoddy, and seemed as if there hadn't been maintenance done on it in a while.

+ Very central, only metres from the Dam. It's an old theatre and the foyer is spectacular. Staff all friendly and helpful.
- rooms at the front can be a bit noisy at night with noise from the street. While we were there, the hotel bar wasn't in full operation as they'd put their license renewal in late, so they could only serve Heineken

+ Curtious and friendly staff, made us feel welcome as soon a we arrived. One of the few hotels that offered secure parking for four motorcycles. Location is right in the heart of all the action! Rooms are spacious and clean. We would recommend this hotel. We will certainly book this hotel another year. *****

+ Fantastic location.
Excellent Breakfast.
- One couple in our group were on the 1st floor at the front and found it noisy.
No air con in rooms - stuffy and warm.
Breakfast staff supervisor was a bit surly.

The 3-star Rho hotel is very quietly but centrally situated, just a few steps away from Dam square. Once used by Hollands famous gold company, the beautiful hall, originally built as a theatre in 1908, is now our lounge and reception area. All rooms are comfortable, most of them very quiet. We do also have
