+ I have been to amsterdam many times before but not stayed at Rokin..... We were greeted by a warm welcome and every single member of staff was very positive and would do anything for us.... keep up the good work!!!
- Only bad point was that there was no fridge in room but not a major problem.

+ In general the hotel was clean, breakfast o.k., nice lady serving
- I arrived after 8 p.m. what I told the hotel before, got the last room they had free. The room nr. 6 was on the ground floor and had no window, they made me pay their highest single room price 95 Euro, before I even saw the room. I felt cheated and told them that. They couldn't care less.

+ the staff was very friendly and helpful,we got a room in the back which is quieterwith all the constructon going on.
we had a smoking room which didn't smell like one
there was a very nice breakfast with an omelet to order
- the room was very small
the bathroom floor gets wet when you shower

+ A charming hotel which was easy to find and only a 10 minute walk from the Central Station. We were also able to go on a canal boat trip a couple of minutes away from the hotel, purchasing tickets directly from the hotel reception. We would definitely stay there again.
- What a pity that the lift does not go down as far as the breakfast room. We had a slightly disabled person in our party who found the spiral staircase a little difficult.

+ Courteous staff. Clean and plentiful breakfast buffet each morning. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times over the last couple of years and have never been disappointed.

+ +good breakfast, but maybe daily variety.
+very helpful staff
- -a bit to pricey for a small hotel.
-I suggest to put floor partition between the shower and the toilet. Although there is a shower curtain, the floors of the bathroom still get wet after someone uses the shower.

+ The hotel is very conveniently located and very clean and light. The choice and quality of food at breakfast was very good. All the staff were polite, friendly and efficient.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
- The room was a bit small, but that is to be expected in Amsterdam.

+ Very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it to friends.
- For some reason I had a huge problem finding the hotel on arrival in Amsterdam. It would have been very helpful if they could email a map showing the location and how to get there if coming by car/motorcycle. (The reason I chose the hotel was because it had garage facilities so it will be popular with car drivers.)

Hotel Rokin is a three-star hotel located in the heart of Amsterdam within a few minutes' walk from Dam Square and 10 minutes from central Station. The hotel was completely refurbished and re-opened in April 2004. The hotel has its own parking garage where guests can park for EUR25 a day. Bicycles can be parked here for free. The hotel has 38 rooms equipped with private shower and toilet, television, telephone and safe in the room. In the lobby and in a large majority of the rooms you can make use of free wireless Internet (WiFi) with your latpop as well.
