+ When we arrived the man at the desk was really friendly and answered all our questions. We had a smoking room as we had requested. The room was quiet as we were at the back of the hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The location was central and close to the station. We would certainly stay there again.
- It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in our room. But on the whole, no complaints.

+ I would strongly recommend this hotel to everybody, it was my 3rd time in Amsterdam and this time I enjoyed my stay most of all. Location is absolutely fantastic, breakfast is sufficient,staff is nice... Even though we moved to ROKIN from 4 business star hotel with spacy rooms located at RAI, I was happier with small romantic DBL where I could better feel the spirit of old Amsterdam. And I will be happy to stay there again!
- It woulde to wise to ask for the room at the quite side of the hotel on the top floor as the construction in front of the hotel is too loud.

- No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There does not seem to be any disabled access to the building which is surprising.

+ Reasonably cheap & cheerful for somewhere to put your head down, close to centre
- Basic rooms, noisy if facing the street due to the trams. Would be completely inaccessible to anyone disabled.

+ Service is very good,we were in hotel before 2 p.m after tired journey and our room was prepare so we could went to our room earlier what was very useful. And before our come-back to Polandd we could also left our baggage in hotel which helped us and we could for example visit Amsterdam
- We had some problems in bathroom with water,which wasn't in toilet during night,but it wasn't so important

Hotel Rokin is a three-star hotel located in the heart of Amsterdam within a few minutes' walk from Dam Square and 10 minutes from central Station. The hotel was completely refurbished and re-opened in April 2004. The hotel has its own parking garage where guests can park for EUR25 a day. Bicycles can be parked here for free. The hotel has 38 rooms equipped with private shower and toilet, television, telephone and safe in the room. In the lobby and in a large majority of the rooms you can make use of free wireless Internet (WiFi) with your latpop as well.
