+ We really have a pleasant stay at Rokin Hotel! At the reception everybody were very kind, expecially a Madam...very very kind with us!!!thank you! We also appreciate the possibility to use internet (unfortunately not a printer...!). Also the breakfast was very good...we just miss an ESPRESSO COFFE'...

+ Location was very central and excellent for getting around. Good helpful reception staff.

- Rooms can be a bit pokey. We had three rooms, one in the basement was bit dark and appeared only partially renovated from being some kind of store room.

+ The hotel is really well located. Staff is permanently available. In each room you have a strong box to leave your wallet in. The breakfast is included and really good.

- My room was the smallest ever and smelled really nasty, although it was a non-smocking one. nothing to make tea or coffee in it, only several TV channels. Bathroom even smaller with shower of anemic power...

+ Great service from reception staff Great service from restaurant staff Comfortable room with own shower and toilet Central location, next to tram line to central station, 4 mins by tram, 10 mins walk.

- Construction work for new metro line at front of hotel starts at 7am, Mon - Sat, may cause you problem if you like lay in. Ask for room at rear of hotel. This is outside control of hotel who do everything to make your stay pleasant

+ Very close to Dam Square and walking distance from Amsterdam Centraal station. Decent bathroom. Free WiFi connectivity helped. Very good for business visitors who are not planning to stay in room beyond sleeping at night.

- Rooms are micro sized as compared to the room rent. Ongoing reconstruction on the street just outside the hotel is a major nuisance. Staff could have been a little more polite to the guests.

+ Able to check-in early, quiet room as requested. Excellent breakfast in comfortable surroundings. Good location, don't be put off by metro works, these won't last forever. My fourth stay at the Rokin !

- Next to main road which had huge and noisy roadworks all day, small room, uncomfortable bed, no litter bin provided.

+ Free WIFI in your room if you are near the receptionist. Comfortable room. They have a sister hotel (RHO Hotel) that has parking for 25 Euro a night. Thats a good price if you attempt to drive in this crazy town.

- Like every other minus the construction in front of the hotel is quite loud. They get up really early and they work almost all day!
