Individual hotel reviews

+ very nice people at the reception. They were all very helpfull.

- We would have liked to be able to open the window. The air in our room was sometime quite poor.
We also lacked a big mirror!

+ Room was impeccably clean. Small but beautifully clean and modern bathroom. Bright, clean rooms, bedroom and dining area included. Wonderfully helpful front desk and dining room staff. Conveniently located right next to a tram line.

- Lack of airconditioning was a definite minus. Stayed here in june and it was unseasonably hot in Amsterdam at the time, making the room almost unbearably hot at times. Even a fan would have helped.

+ N/A

- The map on your website is out-dated, i had to walk for 30 minutes with all my luggage to find your hotel because of the incorrect map.

+ Clean and tidy.

- hotel tried to relocate us in a different location due to our room being damaged by bad weather. Unfortunately, this hotel was not up the standard we had hoped and was forced to return to Hotel Seasons and stay in a double room and not a triple, as booked.
The staff at both hotels were not very helpful.
There were no Plasma televisions as stated on teh booking screen.

+ the breakfast was fine

- The bathroom was extremely small and my irlfriend could not see in the mirrow because it was too high. A chair barely fit in there and she had to stand on it. Location was very mediocre and there was nothing within walking distance. At least a tram stop was in front of the hotel. I wouldn't recommend it or stay there again.

+ comfortably decorated; very modern design. there's wireless internet that cost me 10 euro for 3 hours which actually wasn't too bad compared to the hotel i stayed at in london.

- painfully slow elevator...excrutiating. rooms are a little tight too.

+ Good spec to rooms. Well located. Good choice for a continental breakfast.

- The map from internet showed the hotel in the wrong position on the correct street - quite a walk in the wrong direction initially!!

+ Apart from the woman mentioned above, I found the hotel staff to be most helpful and courteous. Our stay was a gift for my wife's 50th Birthday. I believe that we picked the best place. Thank you!

- On arrival we were given our key as expected. however when we got to the room the service cleaner was still working there and the room was not ready. The cleaner was quite rude and abrupt in my response to my query about when the room would be ready. I did speak to the front desk person at the time about this

+ The location was fantastic, perfect for exploring the city.

The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent.

- It would have been useful to have had card keys for all of the members of the party rather than one between us all.

The room for 3 people was just a double room with an exra bed, this meant that the room was quite cramped.
