+ Great location, good staff, OK breakfast but not great, seemed to be fairly good value for Amsterdam.
- I stayed twice. The first room was not great (small and depressing) and the second room was quite good value for the money.

- Bad noise protection : noise coming from outside (tramway, traffic) as well as from the other rooms.

Had a computer for free use by guests in the reception area, nice!
- A bit shabby, but what can you expect for the price. The breakfast was not so nice though.

+ Nice central location, close to the central train station. Easy to find. Nice staff.
- Our room had bedbugs. We spent one night there because there were quite a few little critters in our beds in the morning. We paid for the one night and got our money back for the rest of the stay. The staff offered to move us to another room and/or to spray our room... but no thanks. Rooms were spartan.

+ Room was very clean; location of hotel was wonderful.
- Continental breakfast-I thought it was complimentary. No signs posted indicating that is wasn't. This needs to be made clearer. Bottom of stairs is a trip hazard; needs to be fixed before someone gets hurt.

+ Internet. Open 24hours. Safety box was great. Service was good even we didn't have room first at all (hotel was canceled both rooms accidentaly).
- We couldn't use bath because there wasn't any plug in our bath (we bought bathing wrap). Towels were quite old.

- not the ,ost luxurious of surroundings and the rooms were very basic but you get what you pay for,wouldnt have stayed there more than two nights though.

+ Comfortable, clean hotel including bedding and towels. Friendly, helpful staff. Good location, just a few minutes from the train station.
- Trams running quite early and until late which was a bit too much if you had to have the window open due to the heat as we did, although worth putting up with for the location and price.
