+ Excellent central location and well-priced compared to less good hotels nearby
- The bathroom, whilst clean, is overdue for renovation

- Both this time and the previous time I was overcharged when it came to paying the bill. Once I had pointed out the errors it was quickly sorted out but on both occasions the overcharge amounted to around 50 Euros.

+ Good location to many sites.
- Closed-in feeling due to small window that only partially opened to air conditioning shaft. Lots of stairs to get to room plus lots of stairs in the room. Noise from other rooms very noticable.

+ Location near the Central Station, at the border of the red light district.
- Ridiculously high internet and telephone prices, unfriendly service, rooms with absolutely no charm and with poor light.

+ we didn't use the mini bar but I looked at the prices, and they were the same as the hotel bar. This was quite resonable. friendly staff.
- bar said open till 1am but wasn't, couldn't get a cup of coffee when we came back at night.

+ less than 10 mins walk from Centraal Station. ideally located. Walking distance to trams, canal boats. buses and night life of Amsterdam. Excellent choice for brealfast.
- the beds were twins and not double which we wanted. There is no option for a double, only twin/double; you would think for a couple the hotel would give a double. Noise from nearby pubs, no double glazing to cut out noise.

+ The location to all of Amsterdam was wonderful. The hotel clerks were friendly and more than helpful in what to see, do and how to get places in Amsterdam. They made our stay extremely pleasant. We plan on returning to Amsterdam and will absolutely stay at this hotel again.
- Late check-in for international travelers who have been on a plane all night (however there is a baggage room where they store luggage).

+ Location, location, location. Terminus is right in the thick of the action, and is but a short walk from Centraal. The strange arrangement of stairs had a certain charm.
- A bit pricey for the tiny room. The lobby bar was even more expensive than the already high drink prices nearby. The strange arrangement of stairs wasn't luggage friendly.
