+ We stayed in 7 different hotels during our trip to Europe. This hotel had the biggest room and most comfortable beds of our entire trip. It was close to the train station and although it was close to the red light district I felt safe traveling with my 2 daughters. We found it very convenient and the staff very nice.
- Not a brand new hotel. We found the hotel charming, but if someone was expecting a new fresh look this is not the place for them.

+ the location, very close to the train station, close to the Red Light District, Close to Damm Square, to some coffeshops... etc. The rooms are confortable, clean, bigs and moderns

+ great location, minutes away from the Dam and walking distance to Centraal station. For its price, the room and service was good.
- Tends to be noisy at night, though the hotel has also recognised this by supplying ear plugs. Shower was a bit small

+ The hotel and the room was very clean. The location (near the station) is very convenient especially for transit travellers. The people in the reception desk were friendly and helpful.
- The elevator was broken and as I saw in other reviews it happens often. It should be replaced because the narrow stairs don't help to carry the luggage up and down.

+ Very friendly and professional staff. The room was clean and neat.
We liked the convenience of the bar in the lobby. The young gentleman who worked there at night was very accommodating.
- The cleaning service forgot to put toilet paper in our room one day. :-). The elevator was broken.

+ Good location, ability to leave luggage until room was available.
- Lift was not working and had to carry luggage up 3 flights of narrow stairs with no assistance.
