- The man in the reception said that he didn´t want us to pay with credit card. The price was 165 euro and we gave him 170. But he didn´t give change back to us! That´s was really irritating!

+ HOTEL IS VERY BASIC BUT FUNCTIONAL,EVERYTHING WORKED,IT WAS CLEAN BUT NEEDED A REFIT,STAFF WERE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.
THIS IS 40 EUROS A NIGHT WITH BREAKFAST AND IT'S LOCATED RIGHT IN THE HEART OF SIN CENTRAL.
SO IT'S A BARGAIN!

- Requested a qUite Room but offered a noisy first floor room overlooking the street, no light bulb is the bed side fixture.
Advertised discount deal with Vijaya Restaurant offered as discount on "MEALS" but applies ONLY to Food and not drinks.

- Rooms are very narrow, it is impossible even to turn... Hygiene is not much respected! Towels are semi-black! No comfort and service at all! No elevator,The reception staff members are not so friendly! My credit card was charged (50%) before arrival but the hotel did not mentioned it and I have paid this sum again... When I tried to clarify this issue the receptionist even did not listened me and imperatively demanded to pay all the sum before entering the room! I do not reccommend to others to stay there!

Hotel Vijaya is located in the heart of the centre, 3 minutes walking from Central Station, Dam Square and the main shopping streets. It will take a 15 minute walk to get to the Leidseplein and the Rembrandtplein. You can also take tram, train and busses to these and many other attractions. All the rooms have private shower / toilet, TV, radio and intercom. Breakfast is included in the room price. The hotel also books excursions to for example Zaanse Schans (Windmills) or Keukenhof (Flowergarden and fields).
