+ NONE

- The bedding was changed ONCE in our 2 week stay.We recieved clean towels everyday. The garbage was not taken out on a regular basis. The room was NEVER vacuumed during our entire stay,on the whole it was a step above a hostel and we will never return to this spot.

+ Very clean. The bathrooms has obviously recently been renovated/updated. The shower was fabulous. Breakfast was nice. We personally liked the location, near the museums and the Pijp.

- It was unseasonably hot in Amsterdam during our trip, which I'm sure affected the room temperature. But we had no ventilation in the room other than a window that opened in to the noisy stairwell, it was really uncomfortable in our room. There also was no closet or dresser to put our clothes. Finally, we'd requested a wake-up call which never came. Luckily we still made our train. It didn't seem like the room was cleaned during our stay.

- Very small room. Dirty and torn towels and linen. Only one and broken lamp. Carpet full of spots. Room was not ready at our arrival time 2pm.

+ Location is good.

- The room was VERY small. We got room for two, but it was really small: only one lamp, no chairs, no wardrobe. We hardly could move in the room. The cleaning service was really bad. The breakfast was the same each day and variety of food was bad. We will never return to this hotel.

+ The shower area was adequate and it was easy to regulate temperature and water flow. The breakfast was OK but it was such a relief to get to some fresh air each morning that perhaps my view was influenced more by that than by the actual quality of the food. The hotel was near the places I wanted to visit.

- It was the worst accommodation I have ever experienced. The room 2003 had no access to the outside. The unopenable window gave on to an internal staircase. A grating on the wall (aircon?) provided no air. It was dark and claustrophobic. The room was not serviced during the 4 days: bed not made; wastepaper basket not emptied. By 4th day room started to smell. There was a electric powerpoint just above the pillow on the bed. Appalling. Should not be included on any list of accommodation. I had to pay on arrival (unlike other hotels booked on the web where I paid when I left) and I knew I had no chance of getting my money back so I decided to spend as little time as possible in the room but it was awful. Not worth any price.
