+ The hotel staff, from the bellmen to the front desk, to the maids, were outstanding, polite, hospitable, and very helpful. Also considering the excellent facilities and location, this makes the hotel an all-around excellent choice. I will recommend the hotel to anyone traveling to Amsterdam, and if I have the opportunity to travel to another country, I will certainly consider the Jolly chain of hotels. Thank you.

+ Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful especially when arriving and leaving. 'Standard' room was excellent and complete with a good view towards the flower market.Superbly placed for tourists, we walked everywhere. Hope to return!
- The down side of the central position is the busy unattractive main road but you can soon reach pretty canalside routes. Breakfast seems expensive because we dont want to eat enough for the whole day in order to get full value.

+ Very helpful staff. Good room overlooking the flower market - larger than we expected and very comfortable.
- Accessing the car park is a little inconvenient if you have left something in the car. A member of staff has to open the car park for you; but the staff did this very cheerfully. Plus point - the garage is very secure!

- We specifically requested a non-smoking room, which we had, but the balcony was littered with cigarette butts. Not only was this not pleasant to look at, but it was never cleaned up in the 4 nights that we were there. There was a faint odor of cigarettes in the room.
