+ All the staff were very friendly.
- The sofa in our room was very dirty and stained. Our room was only minimally cleaned throughout our stay.

+ we are neither an old nore a young couple just two people, who wanted to spend 4 nights of their holidays in a hotel in amsterdam
- the way we were treated by the "service" team - made us decide to leave the hotel 3 days earlier than we palned to and I will avoid nh hotels in the future the room was even worse: viewing a blue plastic curtain of a constraction area two meters accross the narrow backyard and the key card to the elevator never worked there were not enough sesrvice people anyway, so I witnessed some unfriendly discussions with other klients, while I had to wait after I saw this room, which had been a special offer, I was willing to pay for an upgrading BUT ! we were not alloued to look at one of this better rooms, before 3pm. this was called "the policy of Your house" even though I assured the ladie, that I can imagine very well, how a room would look like, after cleaning professionelly, I travel a lot and spend many nights a year in hotels so I do know, what good service is. I?ve never been treated so unkind and arrogant.

+ Great loacation, nice contemporary design, friendly, efficient & helpful staff. Rooms are aa good size and are modern but 'cozy' at the same time. Good comfortable bed with nuce bed linen - great for weary travellers; well thought out bathroom with new fittings that all work properly; nice soft towels and quality toiletries. Bascially this hotel has everything I need as a business traveller including an excellent atmosphere, which is most important
- Internet is a little expensive 11 Euros for 2 hours! (in the end, I used my Vodafone data card for which I got a 3G broadband signal)The 22 Euros if you can take advantage of the 24 hour period is much better value
