+ The employees were kind and helpful. The location was great. I liked the bath products.
- I read this was a 5 star hotel. The room decor and bath facilites were a bit on the tatty side. More in line with a 3 star hotel.

+ We enjoyed a very good night's sleep before our onward journey.
- We left a small package of special shampoo and soap at the front desk for friends of our's staying in the hotel when we left early in the morning. They were staying for two more days. They never received the package. I hope the hotel staff enjoyed the shampoo and soap.

- Breakfast stopped at 10:30 and I arrivedat 10:33 and was refused ! You are 1 hour ahead so it felt like 9:30 to me !!

- the window in my room was not so perfect doesnt close very well, and with my room key I was close out of my room for two times. I think that the time for the chek in it is impossible for travellers (3 p.m.)

+ Its very well located for tourists being opposite central station and tram stops,and also near shopping streets and boat canal tour points.We had a lovely view of Amsterdam.The staff were very helpful and smiling and we loved the way our baggage was brought up to and down from our room by the concierge.

NH Barbizon Palace is located opposite Amsterdams Central Station. The hotel is amongst other things composed of nineteen 17th century houses and a 15th century chapel. The lobby is quite impressive with its high ceilings and marble pillars. Culinary refinement can be enjoyed at restaurant Vermeer, which has been granted several international awards.
