The comfortable three star NH City Centre Hotel, situated in the heart Amsterdam, opened its doors in 1994. Consisting of 5 historical buildings, built around 1920 in the Amsterdam School style, NH City Centre Hotel perfectly represents the atmosphere of Amsterdam. NH City Centre Hotel can easily be reached by car and public transportation. There are several tram stops in front of the hotel. The Amsterdam Circular (A10) offers easy access by car. There is a direct shuttle service from and to Schiphol Airport. The hotel has its own parking garage. + We got what we had asked for - ,but we also got a bigger room to the same price and a beautiful view over the quiet street and the canal.Everything was clean and tidy. The beds were excellent.

- The price of breakfast made us find something else in the neighbourhood,but it was no problem.

+ The Team in the Breakfast area was great, specialy the smily woman on the account. The whole restaurant team was really proffesional. Even the cook was helping by busy days to clean the tabel concratulation to this fantastic team work.

- The room made my rrom 556 was not really careful maybe concerning I was there for one week. The reception staff was not allways at the counter and not really helpful just doing things really really urgently. I had 3 letters which I had to give them posted after talking and talking and paying 20 .- with the remaining please can you send them for me they helped me. Then at the check out day at 04.30 in the morning I came with all my suitcases but nobody would ever help me bringing them to the outdoor. I know there was no bellboy system but there is a human system a man could help a woman.

+ The location of the hotel was great and the reception staff were very professional and friendly.

- We got the smallest double room I have ever seen Room 115 on the first floor. We could not open our small wheely bags unless we put them on the bed as there was no space on the floor, there was just enough space to walk around the bed. We were woken in the morning by the chambermaids talking outside our door as their stock room was oppposite our room. We were also disturbed by the noise of people coming and going from our floor as our room was beside the lift. I was really disapointed by the room I think you have a cheek using such as small room as a hotel guest room to be honest. I would not stay again if that is the standard size of rooms in the hotel it was just too uncomfortable for 2 people.
