+ Staff were friendly and room was huge.
I had to be relocated (see below) and everyone dealt with this very efficiently.
- Didn't actually get to stay in the hotel I booked as a computer error meant rooms had been overbooked. Was relocated to another hotel further a little out of town. Little disappointing but these things happen!

This hotel is in a great location it is easy to get to all of the main tourist points in holland from this hotel.
- The mini bar and the pay per view tv are stupidly overpriced.

+ The concierges at the hotel was a great help, very friendly. My boyfriend lost his wallet whilst on the plane, and they helped us call the airline. They also gave great recommendations for nearby restaurants. I will definately be returning!

+ I stayed at the NH Amsterdam Centre Hotel. The hotel had VERY friendly and helpful staff. The Hotel Shuttle Bus provided an excellent service and dropped off at the hotel door (a return ticket was much cheaper than two singles or a taxi). The room I was allocated was very spacious and comfortable.
- There was minimal wardrobe / drawer space in my room. Bathroom was small compared to size of bedroom. I had a query on my bill (a price for a service I did not have), this was very quickly sorted by desk staff but would suggest that bills are checked carefully!

+ The hotel is not bad value for money. Is not a 5 star in my book. The room was very small compared to others around Europe, it has everything you need in it though. The locations excellent and you can get a tram from central station to right outside the door.
- My advice for anyone is dont rent bikes from the hotel. We locked our bikes to a pole and when we came back the keys didnt open the lock, we had to walk back to the hotel. The concierge guys tried to retrieve them to no avail. They bikes were replaced but one of them had a slow puncture. The bikes can only be described as a total disaster. Also the prices in the mini bar are sky high; I paid 5.50 for a bottle of water. Other than that everything was A+++++++++

+ 1. I was travelling with a baby and found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful.
2. The hotel room had everything I could possibly need for a comfortable stay.
- 1. The phone in my room was programmed incorrectly, twice when I pressed for housekeeping I was 'told off' by reception for calling the emergency number. This felt rather humiliating.
2. The air conditioning in my room was too noisey (it rattled) to run while I slept.
