+ Right in the heart of Amsterdam. Beautiful location, on the Flower Market. Kind personell, multilinguage. Confortable and big room.
- Few smoking rooms, 90% are no-smoking ones. The bathroom was old, little and stinky. No bidet. A shame, the rest of the room was so spacius and confortable, but the Bathroom is not at the same level.

+ Great location for access to the City's attractions. Clean and tidy. Polite staff.
- Room not ready on time (15:00 check-in shown on booking form: room was not available until 16.30) Bed not a proper double: seemed to be two twin beds pushed together, leaving an uncomfortable gap down the centre. Dated furniture, decor and facilities. Lights, television, chair, etc, all need modernising.

+ The hotel was in a fantastically central location, within walking distance of all the main attractions. The room was lovely, with a beautiful view overlooking the floating flower market and was very comfortable.
- Having racked my brain hard, there is honestly nothing that could've enhanced the experience (apart from perhaps a chocolate left on the pillow).

+ Great staff, helpful and efficient.
- ALways a large queue at reception, think the reception desk should be enlarged. Didn't affect our excellent stay, just an observation.

+ Staff were helpful when dealing with the many problems we had with our rooms.
- We had to change rooms twice - once because one of the rooms stank of cigarette smoke, and again because of a serious leak in the bathroom. The first rooms were not clean or pleasant. In the second room there was no soap even after I had asked for some to be provided and there were problems with the heating.

+ Great location and beautiful hotel. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Location was perfect for new year celebrations on Dam square.
- No minus points really to speak of. Getting back into the hotel after 12 would be easier if it could be operated by the room key.

+ location and room and kind reception!
- breakfast; too noisy, to big, bas airconditioning and the foord prepared (waffels, poffertjes) were really not ok. the boiled coffee is not standard for a 4**** hotel
