- This hotel has the worst service of any hotel I have stayed in for years. The staff showed no concern for guests, and were rude when asked for help with basic services - like checking-in. Moreover, while checking out we waited over 20 minutes for 2 employees to finish a conversation before helping us. During all that time I watched as numerous other guests also came to the front desk to complain about other service matters. Once we left even our taxi driver told us how famous this hotel had become for it's bad service. I will never stay there again and would recommend the same to others.

+ The location is very good!
- The hotel is very outdated, 3 or 4 stars could be correct. Check in/out was very slow, more than 30 min.

+ complained about poor breakfast (room service) and was very impressed at how the lady on reception dealt with us. very efficient.

- I sent you an email a week before my arrival and I didn't get any answer. I mentioned this upon my arrival and the receptionist didn't know what to say and simply didn't try to find out what went wrong...

- In the handicapped bath it would have been better to have a shower curtain for privacy and to help contain the water which was all the way to the door

+ Very central. Good size rooms. English speaking staff!!
- We felt a bit isolated in the Royal Wing! Felt like we were staying in an apartment rather than a hotel at times.

+ The location wes excellent and the breakfast room spectacular.
- Breakfast was expensive. I asked to be changed to a summer special rate which inclusded breakfast within the room rate at a premium of ¤25 but was told I couln not do this. The room (and bed) was quite small for the price and a very long walk from reception.

+ Beautiful bathroom with both, bath and shower. Comfortable bed. Centrally located. Friendly staff.
- We found a cap bottle in our room despite the cleaning has been done. TV was old, with that standard I would have expected a Plasma screen.

+ Great location. Friendly staff
- Shabby and in serious need of makeover. Carpets worn and in general very poor refit. Too busy regarding check in exit and can learn from Radisson SAS regarding electronic systems check/out management. rooms tiny in comparison vs price to the GRAND & BLAKES. I am afraid i will not be back until some MAJOR improvements are made!!
