+ Only 5mins away from city center on a tram or about a 15min walk... if that... Amsterdam is a nice place and the hotel was pleasent to stay in.
- As a cheap skate student, it was a bit more expensive than what I normally pay - but you did get the luxury!

- Given the fact it was a weekend, I found the price/quality on the high end (not a specialist A'dam market). Not a specifically good memory of brackfast arrangements.

+ A major factor in selecting your hotel was the private car parking; there aren't many in Amsterdam. We did not actually use the car much during our stay (public transport is excellent), but the re-assurance that the car was safe was important.
