+ The price was good for a hotel that was just for sleeping and needing something to eat. The location was great - we were able to walk everywhere since the attractions were all within walking distance. Having breakfast was a plus. It was nice to have a television in the room. For a 3 star hotel, it was fine for sleeping. The customer service was friendly and no issues on that end. Overall, it was not too bad.
- No parking available and the nearest parking area was a good 10-15 minute walk away from the hotel. The comfort could be a little better. I paid for a double room, but it looked more like a single room that we received since it was so small. I am really a big stickler on clean, and I saw some mildew stains in the bathroom. I just don't like to see that. Plus, the carpet did not look too clean, and we do not wear shoes in our home.

+ PERFECT location, VERY good-sized room compared to 2 other hotels I stayed. Too good and large you couldn't believe it. Very conveniently located close to Dam Square, the trams, shopping street etc. I absolutely love this hotel & will no doubt stay here again the next time I'm in Amsterdam.
- Staff are NOT that friendly. They look kinda bored for the people who are in hospitality. NOT impressed with any of them. The last day I checked out I was asked to find the taxi myself out on the street as the taxi phone was busy. Also, they should make a slope instead of stairs to the luggage room near the lobby.

+ Great breakfast. Excellent location, a block from Dam Square. Room was very clean.
- Still notice smoke smell on occasion even though facility rated 100% non-smoking.
