+ Excellent location on the park away from tourist center. Very quiet. Many shops and cafes within easy walking distance. Reception desk personnel extremely friendly and helpful.

+ Wonderful breakfast and a very stylish, quiet room. Very comfortable bed too.
- Bathroom with just glazed panels left little room for modesty, which while not a problem in our situation, may be awkward for some guests.

+ Lovely hotel in a lovely part of Amsterdam, almost opposite a Tram stop (No. 2) so an easy journey to restaurants, museum area and Centraal station

- Watch out for the charges on checkin! Twice the agreed charge for the hotel was reserved against my credit card, aparently just in case I had breakfast or meals in the hotel. So instead of 247 Euros the hotel reserved 513 Euros on my credit card. They didn't advise this was the case it was only that my bank sends a text message with each card transaction that I realised what they'd done. Massive minus point...

+ Beautiful small boutique hotel located in terrific neighborhood of Vondel Park. We were glad we stayed in Vondel Park versus near Central Station. Able to get shuttle service from airport via Connection system at reasonable price versus taxicab.Very convenient to tram which went to central station which made it very easy to get around Amsterdam. Hotel within walking distance of museum district. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Full breakfast with assortment of hot and cold foods. Room and bathroom recently remodeled. Very clean and neat. Would highly recommend this hotel!
- We do not have anything negative to say about this hotel.

+ Have stayed in many Amsterdam hotels. This is one of the best so far. Had a double room which was farly small but above average for typical European hotels. Clean and quite modern. Good breakfast variety. Quiet and up market location right on the Vondel Park and easy tram access to the city via #2 tram. Free wireless internet in lounge.
- Quite expensive but this was during a large convention where prices in Amsterdam are inflated extremely. If not attending a convention suggest you check for rates. Will stay there again without question.

+ Good location. Peaceful area. Public transport nearby. Delicious buffet breakfast but prefer coffee in pot not machine.
- Our room was tiny! Unfortunately renovations have minimised space and beds are narrow. No arm chairs to sit in! Had hoped for a park view but got street instead which was a little noisy. Great disappointment: all non-smoking rooms.
