+ located in a quiet area of Amsterdam and close to the Van Gogh Museum.very clean and warm hotel.
- no view from the room but it was because the hotel was particularly busy that week and the staff apologised.

+ So far-- this is my FAVORITE hotel in Amsterdam! I love everything about it. Especially that they have single-size rooms, it is very clean, the ambiance is excellent, etc....

+ Very friendly staff! Since there was tea kettle in my room, I asked for hot water at the bar after I had drink there, a staff gave it to me complementary so that I was able to enjoy a teabag I brought in.
- A few steps at the entrance were a little minus for women bringing up a heavy suitcase. Some help would have been nice.
It would have been great if breakfast is included in the price. I forgot how much it is, but brakfast price was expensive.
Also, coffee machine or electric kettle would have been nice in each room.

+ Very nice staff, the bartender was like a tour guide or best friend, really enjoyed his company.
- The showers although they were nice and new and in the room were very messy causing everything in the bathe to get wet.

+ staff was kind and helpful. They even gave me a price break on one of the rooms! I enjoyed the bar and talking with Martin.
- really none, expect the hotel is far from the city center. Then again, Vondel Park is right there!

- 1. Poor location, undesirable immediate neightbours, a somewhat lengthy walk to the areas of interest.
2. Small and darkish rooms, very simple setup.
3. Amateurish front desk staff.
4. Current construction in the immediate area.
