Hotel Rembrandt is situated in the East part of the centre, the Plantage area; a 19th century residential area with dignified buildings and much greenery. Artis Zoo, the Maritime Museum, Rembrandt House and Waterlooplein Flea Market are just a few of the many sights in the vicinity.The University of Amsterdam and Theatre Carre are in walking distance. Rembrandtplein is the perfect place to start a night on the town, and is only a ten-minute walk from the hotel.
The hotel has a room with a life-size copy on canvas of Rembrandt's most famous painting "The Nightwatch" and a room with infrared sauna. Special rooms can be booked on request at additional charge.
All the rooms in the hotel are non-smoking. Smoking is only allowed on the balconies of the rooms #2 and #4.
